Hello everyone,
I'm generally more of a quiet (reader) who prefers to observe, and thankfully, I rarely experience unexpected problems with my car (the Superb) or my wife's Fabia.
Now, a problem has arisen for which I haven't been able to find a suitable or working solution, either through the forum search or the Google search.
After cleaning the particulate filter, it was reset to its default learning values using the drop-down menu in VCDS, along with the differential pressure sensor. So far so good, however, this process resets the ash content and mileage to zero, which doesn't always reflect the condition of a completely new filter after it has been cleaned.
This leads to problems because the membrane separator goes into regeneration mode constantly when the differential pressure is too high.
Therefore, I wanted to change the mileage through the "Initialize DPF" menu option, but I was unable to do so because of an error during the login attempt.
Access permission failed (device is not sending a "seed"). Error 37: Lock time is active.
permanently prevails.
The login "12233" was used.
What has been tried unsuccessfully so far:
1) Leave the ignition on (while connected to a battery charger).
Tried once for 30 minutes, once for 2 hours.
2) Leave the battery disconnected for 2 hours.
3) Leave the battery disconnected and connect the cable terminals.
Is there possibly a connection to the Dieselgate software version 9977, which might explain why access has been generally blocked? (Please note, this is purely speculation!)
Autoscan attached.
The problem of continuous regeneration has been resolved by recalibrating the differential pressure sensor. Previously, this reading showed a differential pressure of 25 mbar with the engine idling, but now it displays 0 mbar with an offset of 12 mbar.
But the login for customization still doesn't work.
Perhaps someone here with more experience has encountered this issue before, or maybe has an idea about the cause, or knows whether this behavior is intentional.
The vehicle is not in its original condition; it has a turbocharger from the 170hp CFGB engine, as well as CUNA injectors and a Wagner front-mounted intercooler. The software has been adjusted accordingly. (I hope this doesn't disqualify it.) Criterion!
I apologize for the lengthy text; I'm trying to describe everything as accurately as possible (forum rules!) to minimize the number of questions needed.
Alright then, I wish you a pleasant evening and hope to receive clarifying answers.
Best regards,
Alex.
