Hello!
Sure, here's the translation:
'Short question:'
My instrument cluster was recently replaced because the PM display was having contrast issues (and it was covered by my warranty insurance).
Yesterday, I noticed that what appears to be sealing rings (fabric material) are 'protruding' from the top of the air vents in the center.
Could this be related to the instrument replacement (poor workmanship), or could it possibly be due to the extreme heat of the past few days?
Regards,
Felix.

Hello,
actually, you never know with workshops, but this probably has nothing to do with...
The combination instrument needs to be changed. Tschüss

'That's right, with the B5, you can remove the instrument cluster without having to disconnect anything else. Just loosen four screws towards the steering wheel and pull it straight out!'
Unfortunately, the piece of fabric that comes loose from the middle nozzle is a common issue with the B5 model! It happens to about half of the cars. The solution is quite simple: remove the nozzle and then reinstall it!
Regards,
Manuel.
