hello everyone icon_biggrin.gif

I am writing here for the first time. Welcome icon_biggrin.gif.
My friend is having a problem with his tuned Leon. Currently, it has 340 Nm of torque, and unfortunately, the clutch is slipping.
Can you tell me the rated torque icon_question.gif (maximum torque) icon_biggrin.gif of the clutch?
Where can I find such data and other data (website)?
I'm also interested in this (same Leon), because I also want to tune mine (including replacing the injectors with 0.205 size ones and installing a software upgrade for 110 horsepower).

Thank you in advance for your help.

greetings

Hello,

340nm with an ALH icon_eek.gif is quite impressive; the original engine has 210nm.
While this isn't an answer to the question, regarding the engine's lifespan, I would suggest considering slightly reducing the extent of the tuning.

The engine construction is the same as the 110 hp version, but the ALH 90 hp engine is simply detuned (100%). This is achieved with smaller injectors (0.185 size) and a softer engine control unit.
Question remains - what about the other components, including the clutch icon_question.gif?
Another friend even achieved almost 360 horsepower (with a 0.216 turbo and a big intercooler) and hasn't had any problems with the clutch (how long icon_lol.gif - another thing), and that's quite surprising for me right now icon_confused.gif.
People say that a clutch can even transmit up to 400 Nm icon_idea.gif icon_question.gif.
What does it look like in reality? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

I am writing from Poland - greetings to everyone icon_biggrin.gif.

The parts catalog lists two different clutches for the 1.9 VP-TDI engine in the Leon.

Clutch: ALH (90 hp)
2. Clutch: AGR (90 hp), AHF (110 hp), ASV (110 hp)

I also have an ALH Leon that, with a chip tuning upgrade, produces 125 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. These figures were obtained using a dynamometer.

With the following link, I would like to recommend the search function to you. icon_wink.gif
