Hmm, I had that too, apparently the alternator had to generate so much power for a short time that the engine had to be regulated...
(Experienced extremely high power consumption with my system)
Now I have a 95 amp Exide battery in and it only occasionally goes from 950 to 1100 RPM.
(Well, if 150 Amperes are drawn... )

That probably won't be it, because there's nothing in the car (like a system, etc.).

Hallo,
wer sucht findet: https://community.dieselschrauber.org/en/viewtopic.php?t=15

Hello Michael,
I completely agree with Jörg!
It would also be interesting to know how many workshops secretly obtain information or even ask for advice anonymously (although we probably will never find out the "whole truth").

Thank you for the link, I was looking, but only under articles
In the link, it states:
1.9 l SDI/TDI
AFN, AHU, AEY, AGD, ALE
Engine revs up to approximately 2,000/min after starting, with a lack of power.
Only approximately 120 km/h with error entry 1237 Fuel valve N109,
Error light is flashing.
Cause:
The electromechanical shut-off valve is used in safety self-diagnosis.
identified as defective.
Solution:
Repair of the electromechanical shut-off valve with the
Part 028 198 135.
The revving is very short and only happens very rarely, otherwise everything runs smoothly, and it can reach 180 according to the speedometer. The error indicator also doesn't blink, of course.
So, I'm assuming that it couldn't be the fuel valve?!
Should one actually wait until several indicator lights have turned off before starting the engine, or should one directly turn the key to start the engine?

Hi,
It doesn't always have to be that all error images occur simultaneously. If it's just the spinning motion after starting, I would still look for this error. Gruß Bertil

I know, perhaps it will help even further that it has only been driven 44,000 km, we will definitely continue to monitor it, and furthermore, it still has warranty.

@Avenga
I do it whenever I feel like it (turning the key). 'Preheating is only effective at temperatures below 5° Celsius (unless the sensor has been modified), and the systems continue to heat up, but the engine is already running.'
Best regards, WarLord

Some time ago, this issue was already being discussed, and it was mentioned that the problem could be caused by fuel injectors that were dripping. If that helps...

Hello Avenga!
I would prefer not to participate in the discussion about the pros and cons of the database and would like to share my experience with this problem. The cause of the problem was a faulty coolant temperature sensor. This has set an absurdly low temperature for the control unit.

To clarify the issue with the database:
Those who use them often don't need to post. So, don't jump to conclusions based on a few posts saying that no one uses the DB!
Greetings

Is 90% of the time the coolant temperature sensor. The same effect occurs if you do this, then the engine will also rev up when starting.

I'll get back to you soon!
Went to the Seat dealer for a diagnostic check (even though there was no warning light on).
There was then a Kühlm.Temp sensor that was malfunctioning sporadically.
So, sometimes it shows a very cold value when starting up...
I still need to drive quite a distance before the repair, does that bother me during the journey? Or is it only there to be turned on?
