Skoda Cooking: Maggi Recipes & Car Kitchen

I'm having a problem with my 5-month-old Skoda Superb (96 kW PD). When I turn on the heater, a smell like instant noodles or spices enters the car.
Could it be due to a faulty heat exchanger, or something else? Even though it's under warranty, I don't want to rely solely on the workshop's assessment.

I don't know the exact cause, but I know that the smell stops if you turn off the air conditioning a while before starting the engine. The odor after starting in VAG vehicles is probably caused by residual moisture that activates old socks left in the air conditioning system.

The "Maggi smell" has usually indicated a defective (leaking) heater core for me in the past. Are you losing coolant? You should have a pressure test done.

I completely agree. I would also suspect leaks. Coolant can smell like that.
