Your Climatronic system likely has 3 diagnostic functions.

1. Error memory: Turn the ignition on, set the climate control to automatic mode, and press the OFF and TEMP+ buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. Continue pressing the TEMP+ button to cycle through the error codes, which you should note down. Keep pressing TEMP+ until "0000" is displayed. When "0000" is shown, press and hold the OFF button for 3 seconds until "4444" is displayed; this will clear all errors from the memory.
(Honestly, who comes up with this kind of nonsense?)

Then I can't help you anymore. I'm running out of ideas. But here's a tip: Press all the keys in pairs and triplets for three seconds each. Skip unlikely combinations (for now). By that, I mean pressing "Temp" simultaneously with "Temp+" and so on.
