Hello there!
Buy me a 150 HP engine tomorrow that I can install in my car (AFN).
wants to join in.
I was wondering how much effort it would take to accomplish that.
The motor includes:
Engine wiring harness, control unit, dashboard, ignition switch, turbocharger, and exhaust manifold. Unfortunately, the alternator is missing.
The parts are from a 2001 Volkswagen Golf, model 4.
Greetings, Bacardybreezer.
That's so stupid.
Did I drive from Stuttgart to Berlin yesterday?
Regarding the engine...
Unfortunately, the information I received over the phone was incorrect.
not entirely correct...
Control unit, instrument cluster (WFS). A Zünschlöß was present.
AABER.
'The mass airflow sensor is missing, which costs around 300 euros. The alternator is also faulty, and a new one would cost around 700 euros. Additionally, the engine wiring harness and the wiring harness to the instrument cluster need to be replaced, which would cost approximately 700 euros altogether.'
Too bad, it would have ended up being 'a bit' more expensive than planned.
Interestingly, the years also didn't quite match up.
Some modules had the year '98' printed on them, while others had '99' or '01'.
I then let it go

.
Best regards, Bacardybreezer.
