Hi,
Since I'm not really sure where I should be checking the {ITEM} on my Leon TDI {SPECIFIC LOCATION}
Need to capture the load, (The thread on the AGR is actually only)
as a temporary solution due to contamination, as I haven't yet
(I wanted to determine conclusively whether the AGR should function or not)
I would like to have a distance piece with a hose connection made.
man between the original pressure sensor and the LLK.
Now there is also a temperature sensor (charge air temperature?).
with which is pushed outwards.
Can someone tell me which {QUESTION}?
Impact of an inaccurate loading air temperature
and what is the purpose of the air intake temperature anyway?
Greetings

Hi
According to TDI system descriptions, its measurement is allegedly used for fine-tuning the boost pressure.
And it serves as a power-on criterion for the incandescent heater after winter cold starts. Gruß Ulf

Hi,
so, der serienmäßige Ladedruck, Ladelufttemperatur. Sensor is located at my place.
above the LLk, if you offset it by approximately 10mm outwards
That doesn't really make much sense. What do you think about it?
Greetings

Hi
10 mm = 1 cm outward displacement probably won't make much difference, but from around 3 cm, I would already suspect significant inaccuracies in temperature measurement:
Specifically, when the sensor is located in a "dead end" area that is not being directly exposed to airflow, and the temperature within is primarily determined by heat transfer or cooling from the engine compartment rather than by the intake air. Gruß Ulf
