Men are finding it increasingly difficult to sell the subsidized soup in its pure form, so now they're adding other ingredients to it! Gruß Bertil

Okay, and who is held liable for leaky pumps and other issues? Is it Mr. Schröder personally?

Hi,
This is yet another economic development project and a scheme to exploit diesel drivers.
Bosch will likely be pleased about the increase in sales of replacement pumps.
And how long will it take until all gas stations start selling this stuff? Is there any more information on that? For now, you can boycott Aral, Shell, and BP...
Best regards, Andy.

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no longer any mention of a potential diesel price reduction at Shell and BP/Aral.
The two mineral oil companies are undoubtedly very pleased with the cross-subsidization achieved through tax exemptions on the 5 percent biodiesel component.
Thank you, dear Supergovernment.
Greetings, Marcus.

I also find it rude that the soup is being referred to as "regular diesel."
But that's also the problem with this stuff, because it makes us turn inward.
Or does any of you actually believe that non-alcoholic beer is truly alcohol-free???
However, hopefully not, because according to the law, "alcohol-free" means anything with a content of less than 0.5%.
So, we ran the dialysis machine until it reached 0.48%, and then we put a "free" sticker on it!!!
Not to mention genetically modified products...
Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.

Here's something else I was thinking about: who actually controls the maximum 5% biodiesel content in diesel fuel? Is it BP and ARAL themselves?

Is that correct?
And they're probably going to eliminate the tax exemption on the 5%, and then they'll use the price of crude oil as an excuse to make the gasoline 5 cents more expensive.
Awesome self-service store!!!

The German federal government's hands are tied (they can do very little about it... read the source carefully!).
Implementing an EU regulation is the only way to achieve the 2% market share for "biodiesel." Gruß Bertil

It is a matter of implementing an EU regulation. Otherwise, achieving the 2% target for 'biofuels' will not be possible.
Yes, that's right. So I'll thank the EU super-government for the diesel particulate filters that will likely be clogged more often in the future, assuming it's only that.
Shell will soon also offer products for gasoline engines, as stated in the press release.

and BP/Aral state that the tax exemption only applies to mixing (the production costs of the mixtures).

Well, I don't know.
It doesn't really matter whether biodiesel or other additives are mixed in when the concentration is only 5%.
I don't think it's worth thickening the sauce with such a small amount of ingredients.
I think that, in this case, biodiesel is worse than Biofuel.
Since the tank-cleaning effects of the toxic mixture are likely self...
"remain stable upon dilution."

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
"Hi,"
Perhaps it would be worthwhile to conduct some tests (regarding the cleaning effects on the fuel tank) using diesel and a mixture of diesel with 5% "bio"-diesel, to see if there is any noticeable difference in their "cleaning performance".
If so, that would indeed be disastrous for the ESP.

she can do little about it..
That's right, the Euro obsession was fueled by the somewhat intellectually impaired Kohl government...
But... why are you getting worked up about the 5%? If that were all there was to it...
If a tanker truck with a capacity of 15,000 to 30,000 liters fails to properly verschandeln its tank after delivering Super Plus or heating oil, the cetane number will also be affected, and depending on the residue left behind, it will be either higher or lower than the target value.

Are you sure that a 5% difference really makes a difference? I think it's probably even normal in other countries. I don't think it matters much. Who knows how some gas station owners refine their fuel... VW Golf III TDI Avenue, MKB 1Z, EZ96
