AFN Engine: Which PD Turbo Fits?

I'm looking for a VNT17 turbocharger for my AFN engine, but I'm not entirely sure in which vehicles it was used. Does every 130 or 150 PS TDI engine have the VNT17 installed, or are there significant differences? I saw some that were directly connected to the exhaust manifold (I think they were from a Passat 130PS PD).

Can I temporarily use the larger turbo with the original engine control unit (ECU)?

What kind of car do you have?

The complete turbos with manifold are only compatible with engines mounted transversely (sideways).
