When will I receive the notification that it's time for my service appointment?

On the G4 model, the service reminder appears starting at 2,000 kilometers before the scheduled service; it is not available for querying before that point.
Respect!!!

@d.:
i.e., the warning should appear at 48001 km ???
Does that mean you haven't caused enough wear and tear yet?
Okay, drive very carefully... keep it up.

Hello,
Okay, in my 74kW Golf (AXR) from December 2002, the message appeared 3000km before the service, and then it changed to a countdown.
By the way, at the more 'typical' mileage of 35,000 km.
Best regards,

The message appeared on my car's dashboard 3000 km before the scheduled service, but it first appeared at 24000 km.
That campervan probably cost somewhere between 5,000 and 8,000 kilometers worth of money. Gruß Bertil

hm...
I already think 47,000 km is very unlikely.
I'd like to take a look at the instrument cluster to see what the current readings are.

Hello,
My car's maintenance indicator came on at 35,793 km, and I took it in for its first service today. Unfortunately, it's staying there because the left driveshaft is leaking and will be replaced under warranty. This is the first real defect I've had.
Most of the higher-powered (96 kW) PD engines in the G-IV forum were clearly below 30,000 km and ready for servicing, and I get the impression that they reach that mileage more often than the 74 kW PD engines.
@Brösel: As far as I understand, you must have the vehicle inspected no later than after 50,000 km or 2 years, even if you don't receive a separate notification from the instrument cluster.
OT: I was then driven home in a used Golf V 2.0 TDI that had been modified, and the interior color scheme is truly awful. It's no wonder it's selling so slowly, despite having air conditioning and a 1.9% financing offer.
Best regards, Marcus.

The question has actually been resolved!
The service reminder appeared at approximately 47,090 km (3,000 km until the next service) and decreases by 100 km each time.
I probably reached the longest possible interval with that.

Now, go ahead and complain some more...
I think the question of whether LL is worth it or not is probably moot.
This proves that it is indeed possible to achieve the maximum interval. Everywhere, people are doubting it.
Did you receive your car with 90 kilometers on the odometer? Gruß Bertil
