AKN Engine: Pressure Sensor Location

...it's not in the control unit. I haven't found anything in the intake manifold, from the intercooler to the intake (I'm blaming my poor eyesight for that).

Can someone please give me a hint?

By the way, the AKN has 2 LLK! At least, mine does. They are located on the front left and right, near the fog lights. Did you really check everywhere?

My air conditioning system, as far as I can tell, only has one heat exchanger, and it's located in front of the water cooler and behind the oil and air conditioning coolers. So, the entire cooling system looks like a sandwich.

Regarding the search: obviously, it wasn't thorough enough, because I couldn't find it. I searched from the exhaust manifold outlet to the intake manifold of both the left and right cylinder banks. But unfortunately, I still couldn't find it.

'What I found was the EGR valve and another strange part whose function I didn't understand. It seems to be a kind of valve connected to a pressure sensor and a hose leading to some other valve. This part is located exactly halfway between the intercooler and the branch for the first cylinder bank. But the replacement pressure sensor is an electronic component, apparently consisting of a temperature sensor and a piezo pressure sensor, with 4 connection pins, and that's exactly the part I'm looking for.'

If someone could tell me where that thing is and what the other one does, it would really help me.

Hi Joe,

The part in question is likely the fuel shut-off valve. When the engine is turned off, you should hear a distinct 'click' from this valve.

But unfortunately, I still can't find my pressure sensor. A rough description of its location would be very helpful.

So, I've now thoroughly checked the entire intake manifold again with a friend who's a car mechanic. Unfortunately, he doesn't know anything about Audi; he comes from the Toyota side of things. But neither he nor I were able to find the part.

Demnach suchen wir an der falschen Stelle. Aber vor dem Turbo kann das Ding keinen Sinn machen und meiner Logik nach würde ich es vor dem LLK auch nicht suchen, weil da ja ein Temp-Fühler drin ist, und der liefert wohl vor dem LLK keine optimalen Werte. DAm I understanding correctly?

I'm now focusing on the LLK (likely referring to a specific component or system). However, to get there, I would need to do a lot of work. Before I start, I would really appreciate it if someone with expertise could confirm that I'm looking in the right place.

On the Passat (AKN), the pressure sensor (and temperature sensor, which are combined into one unit) is located on the top of the left-hand intercooler!

The sensor for the intake manifold pressure (G 71) is located at the top of the air filter housing on the driver's side and is secured with two screws (tightening torque: 10 Nm).

Now I know why I couldn't find it. It's located on the left side near the LLK (likely a specific vehicle component), and it's mounted so cleverly that the front bumper has to be removed to access it (it's located under the headlight).

What are the purposes of the 3 connectors on the spray bar next to the N75? So far, I have only been able to identify the cable from the NBF.
