What kind of donor is this?

While cleaning, I came across a 3-pin sensor with the part number 1H0959481B. This part likely came from an older 1Z engine.

Can anyone identify this? Is it worth keeping? Or is it better to get rid of it since it's probably never going to break?

The part is likely a dual thermostat switch for the radiator fan and is used in many VW models . It should cost around 20 Euros.

Your statement is likely correct. Upon closer inspection, I found the values 102 / 95. I assume these are the two threshold values.

Does anyone know what the maximum load capacity of this part is?

Given that the cooler fans can draw up to 450W, and this power would be switched by the thermostat, I would estimate currents of up to nearly 40A at 12V .
