various VNT 15 loaders (AFN u. ASV/ALH)?

In the AFN and ASV/ALH, practically the same turbochargers (VNT 15) are used. However, it seems that there are still differences between the VNT 15 turbochargers, as both have different part numbers. Furthermore, I have heard that the newer one (in ASV/ALH) can handle more boost pressure. Does anyone have more precise information about this?

That could be the problem:

On the loading platform of my Golf, there was indeed VNT15.

At the ALH-Ibiza, there's a device called GTV1749B or something similar - but definitely not VNT15.
His charging housing is also slightly larger than that of the VNT15.

I just realized that they have different dosages. But that can't be the only difference, can it? Are there any Garrett datasheets with the specifications?

You're probably just playing on the different names of VW and Garrett. Take a look at http://www.egarrett.com/products/gt_15_25.jsp You'll see that the VNT15, which is designated by VW, actually has the name Garrett GT17V....

On this page http://listg.bei.t-online.de/turbo.htm, the VNT15 (AFN) and GT1749V (ALH/ASV) are described as different turbochargers. Furthermore, it is stated that the GT1749V and the GT1749VA (ASZ = 130 PS PD TDI) only differ in their oil connections or housings. That would mean that the ALH has the same loading capacity as the ASZ, and therefore they are also identical in terms of stability when stationary.

The GT1749VB (ARL = 150 PS PD TDI) is a completely different turbocharger and has nothing to do with the GT1749VA.
