hello
I have some questions about the VAG-COM 302.2 software.

Okay, so I've now connected the T4. I noticed that the pin configuration of the OBD port was as follows: pin 16 = 12V, pin 4 = ground, pin 5 = L-line, and pin 7 = K-line.

Although the L-line should actually be on pin 15, right???

'So, I looked at the pin assignments for the T5, and it turns out that pins 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, and 16 are all used, with 12V present between pins 4 and 16. What are the other pins for? Probably for additional sensors. That would mean I need a different interface, wouldn't it? I thought OBD interfaces had standardized pin assignments.'

'Anyway, I once connected the T4 and tried to access the OBD2 menu. icon_sad.gif Then it said, 'Vehicle is not OBD2 compatible,' } even though there is an OBD connector present. (This is a 1998 model year).'

I was then able to connect to the engine (01), ABS brake (03), and external WFS (25).
was ist eigentlich ext. WFS???

What can I actually do with the 'wag-scope'?

What could that mean: (motor 01)
'One error found:'
00625 - Speed signal.
27-00-implausible signal

Can the program actually read out data from every control unit in VAG vehicles?

'Thank you.'
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

'Hello'

Oh my god...

The presence of an OBD-II connector does not necessarily mean that the vehicle is OBD-II compliant. OBD-II compliance refers to the implementation of the OBD-II protocol within the vehicle's control unit (ECU) software. Variations in pin assignments are also possible. In newer models, the diagnostic connector may also include CAN or a 2.0 K-line, for example. Furthermore, newer vehicles can often only be diagnosed via CAN. Also, the L-line may not always be required.

This is the standardized pin configuration.

Okay, pay attention! And maybe try using Google sometime...

Regarding the other questions: use the search function, the VAG-COM manual, and your own brain!
