Doku Touareg, Transmission in Emergency Mode (Solution)

Check engine light is on, all gear display is showing red, transmission may be in emergency mode. Transmission Control Unit Error: "17225 / P0841 Sensor 1 for Hydraulic Pressure Transmission / Implausible Signal"

Cause:
Oil pressure switch on the transmission is broken.

Solution:
Read the entire vehicle's fault memory. If the error "17225 / P0841 Sensor 1 for Hydraulic Pressure Transmission / Implausible Signal" is present, the two oil pressure switches in the transmission must be replaced.
