Oil drain via the Haldex coupling vent.
Cause:
In vehicles of type 1J, under specific conditions, oil from the Haldex coupling's vent line can enter the vehicle's longitudinal support beam.
The oil exits at the point of installation of the breather hose or further forward in the direction of travel, near the bottom of the vehicle.
Solution:
Check the Haldex coupling oil level. The oil level should align with the edge of the oil check bore. This is a prerequisite for the next steps.
If the oil level is low, replace the oil in the Haldex coupling.
After the above-mentioned oil level has been ensured, remove 50 ml of oil from the Haldex coupling via the check hole. Tschüss
