Hello everyone,

My NHG in the 1Z is probably completely broken now... Yesterday, while on the highway, the Audi suddenly went into limp mode, and I had to drive home at 120 km/h. The error code read: "00542 - Needle lift sensor (G80) - 05-00 Input open". A test with an ohmmeter shows 0 ohms... so it doesn't look good at all icon_sad.gif.

Does anyone have any good ideas? Since I'm already constantly looking for cheap AFN nozzles, it's probably time to get some – and that will likely be expensive.

Has dieselsend.de shut down? The website only displays a "Error 404" message.

Where else can you get four new, complete nozzle assemblies for the AFN quickly?

Thank you!

icon_question.gif icon_question.gif 0 Ohms = Short circuit!
An open circuit would have an "infinite" resistance (in Ohms).

How does that all fit together?

It could also be very good – the digital ohmmeter showed "0"... but it does that even when you're not measuring anything.

I hereby correct myself to "infinite ohms."

@Tino

dieselend.de is still working...
I'll get back to you tomorrow; I might still have your old NHG lying around in the garage.

Regards,
Heart.

Is it all the way on the left of the screen?

stands for O, representing 'verrun' icon_wink.gif.

It should also display a reading even if you apply 5V to a measurement range that's supposed to be up to 2V.

@ Tino
I actually still have the NHG (National Health Gazette) in the garage; but you also received an email.
Your B4 is therefore almost completely healed icon_wink.gif.
