Vibration under the car when accelerating

Hi everyone,

I've recently been experiencing a knocking sound from under the car when I accelerate. It always happens when I brake and then accelerate again. I've already checked the exhaust system, and it seems to be fine.

I don't think the front suspension is the problem either, otherwise I would feel it when steering.

I have an A5 Avant from '98 (AFB). Has anyone experienced this before? If I take it to the mechanic, they will probably disassemble the entire car. :-)Best regards, Johannes

Hi,

hatte letztens auch undefinierbare Geräusche "von unten".

Bei mir hatte sich das Innenleben des Kats gelöst...

war allerdings bei Standgas am lautesten, während der Fahrt weniger im Vordergrund.

nur so'ne Idee!
