I have had an Audi A6 2.5 TDI AKE (179 hp) Quattro Tiptronic (130,000 km) since autumn.
Consumption is now at 9.6 liters with winter tires. Vmax not to exceed 140km/h as it is no longer permitted and could become expensive here in Austria.
With summer tires, fuel consumption was as low as 8.2-9.2 liters per 100 km, depending on driving style.
Normally, you get around 10 liters with an automatic.
Consumption should definitely not be excessive for them.
In the Audi Allroad, the V6 TDI typically consumes 12.5 liters.
I've often driven my economical car with a multitronik transmission. They then had around 8.9 liters on the MFA. However, they only had 163 horsepower.
