Rear Axle Bearing Wear Limit?

Hello,

'For almost 2 years, I've known that my rear axle bearings are worn out (according to the manufacturer's inspection report). In fact, the outer metallic part was heavily corroded.'
However, they didn't have any problems, as their vital signs seemed to be good.
I haven't checked recently, but now I'm noticing a 'popping' sound coming from the HA (hearing aid). It's only noticeable with larger holes, though.
I want to know: How does a worn-out HAL (Hydraulic Axial Load) manifest itself? (e.g., play in the bearing, rattling?)
b: What potential consequences could result from driving like that?
