Hello!

"How exactly is the oil feed connection sealed at the top of the turbocharger? Is there a copper sealing ring inside, or is the pipe flared and pressed onto the turbocharger using a coupling nut, similar to the injectors?"
"There's a slight leak in my 1Z engine at this point, and the oil is dripping onto the turbo. However, I don't want to investigate it further because doing so might worsen the leak, and I might not be able to drive the car anymore."

Okay, so you must still have the K14 charger, which is the one with the 182 Nm turbine.

I can only provide images from the 1Z engine with 202 Nm of torque, but unfortunately, those images are also blurry.

As far as I can remember, the inlet manifold on my 1Z and on the JX bus (a K14) were sealed with a cone – so, NO gasket – similar to what E.Duesen used.

The cone is attached to the turbo with a seal, as can be seen in the picture above.

Greetings.

As far as I know, I have a Garrett T2 turbocharger, but 182 Nm is correct.

I think you're right.
Now that you mention it, I can vaguely remember.

Thank you!

Hello Wolfi_b.

A cone is also present in the 1997 AFN.

Regards,
Thomas.
