I upgraded both a Variant 2000 and a Limo 2003 by replacing the comfort control unit for central locking with a system that includes power folding mirrors. The Limo is working perfectly.

The variant lock engages when opening the front doors or the tailgate. I mistakenly installed part numbers 1J0 959 799 AH 04U and 002, but it's likely that 048 would have been the correct part.
