Climatronic display blinking: Error code 01596 - Actuator motor, fresh air flap.

Where is the V154 located? I've read that the potentiometer in it is a common point of failure.
How do I access it, and is it something that can be repaired, or does it need to be replaced?
Who can help me? Do I have to take the board out? - Please don't... icon_cry.gif
