I'm just chiming in here, even though it's an old thread.
I had to do that on a three-door car, so with the one-piece bearings.
I built a tool for the installation, see the picture. However, nothing is allowed to protrude. To make it faster (relatively speaking), I bent the brake line holders.
"For pressing, I used an M12 spindle from a spring spreader, and as washers, I used the ones from my ZK screws, which are quite hard." The entire assembly was then lubricated with MoS2 grease.
I bypassed the theater's braking system by loosening the bearing bracket and cutting through the long screw. Since the bearings are mounted with pre-tension, I marked the position of the support beforehand.
Otherwise, the heating and air conditioning system remained active.

Okay, Christians, I once made something similar to that.
It's beneficial to extend the circular arc a bit further on the curved side; this will widen the contact area. In my case, it was quite difficult to fit it in, and the rolled edge was already pressing slightly outwards.
I also sawed it and gently pried it out back then. Initially, I wanted to burn off the rubber, but I quickly abandoned that idea and gave up because of the black flakes it produced.

They went in quite smoothly; I had also thoroughly cleaned the axle of rust beforehand. Burning them out wasn't really effective. I started by making holes in the soft rubber and then punching out the insides.
