I have a simple question.
The 4Motion system has a default torque distribution of 90:10 (front:rear), and then adjusts accordingly when there is no longer sufficient grip at the front.
Is it possible to adjust the electronics via VCDS in such a way that the transmission ratio, for example, can be set to 50-50?
"This question has been bothering me for a while, but unfortunately, I haven't found an answer anywhere yet. Maybe someone here can help me?"
Greetings. Kaum macht man es richtig, funktioniert es!

Using VCDS, nothing works. You need an additional module, which is available from various manufacturers. The price starts at around ~900€, with no upper limit. MfG. Michael

Do you happen to know what that module is called? And which manufacturer makes it?
Just out of curiosity.
Thank you. Kaum macht man es richtig, funktioniert es!

For example, Haldex itself offers one.
or eBay number: 270662515661 (this is a reputable seller!).
*note* I will most likely purchase the item shown in the book as well. MfG. Michael

"It sounds interesting what they're writing, but one wonders if it's worth the money for the average consumer, or for people who, like me, live in remote mountain areas."
I'd say, for €950, you can already get nice Audi 90 or 100 Quattro models with a 5-cylinder or V6 engine .
I can even manually lock the rear axle up to 30 km/h.
I'd be interested to know how it drives and whether it actually works properly.
You can let me know when you buy one and tell me how it is.
Greetings. Kaum macht man es richtig, funktioniert es!

Or, if you like to drive sideways, but with 150 horsepower, you can't do much. That's why I'm only getting it when the appropriate power is available. MfG. Michael

I tried something new today.
Specifically, during the all-wheel drive actuator diagnosis, I encountered an error that caused the all-wheel drive test to be interrupted and terminated.
If it were closed, would that mean I have a 50/50 chance?
If this is already possible, then theoretically, it should be possible to make changes using VCDS.
In addition to that, a charging pump failed, and I can't imagine what could be underneath the charging pump. Or, to put it another way, I'm not entirely sure about that.
Greetings.
EDIT: I need to rephrase this after doing some research.
Okay, here's the translation:
"I'd like to go for a fun, short snow ride on a field with my colleague on our sleds. Would I be able to simply activate a "Short 2...3km" mode via the control unit diagnostics to engage the Haldex system and have permanent all-wheel drive?" Kaum macht man es richtig, funktioniert es!

klahaui wrote: | | All-wheel drive actuator diagnosis triggered and completed separately. | Yes, of course, that's an actuator diagnosis. With continuous driving, it will probably stop after a few kilometers.
As I said: It's not possible to change it via VCDS. And having to "activate" it every time using the actuator diagnostic function, well... MfG. Michael

Yes, the "actuator dia." thing isn't a permanent state, but it's certainly good for a bit of fun.
In the MWB 2 (or 1?), I also have the display showing the Haldex voltage, before the actuator display. It showed 13.60V, but then dropped to only 0.7V. This would mean that if the voltage is lower, the Haldex is closed, and the permanent all-wheel drive kicks in:D Kaum macht man es richtig, funktioniert es!

You can find a similar set on eBay, but it costs €650. Kaum macht man es richtig, funktioniert es!

Well, I'm waiting for the feedback when you have it. I'm curious, but my ARL will remain a gasoline series, with a V8 engine instead of diesel power . Kaum macht man es richtig, funktioniert es!
