Small Battery Box for ASZ - Save Space!

Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem with my battery tray and cover. Since I replaced the standard air intake system in my Golf 4 Variant with the one from the R32 DSG, the battery tray only fits very tightly, and the cover doesn't fit at all. Because the battery I have installed, which is 70AH/340A, still has quite a bit of space on the sides, I would like to install a smaller battery tray and cover.

Installed is: 1J0 915 333 battery holder, 70AH/340A, 80AH/380A.
1J0 915 335 B Battery cover.

Would a battery terminal with the code 1J0 915 333 A, designed for a 44AH/220A battery and compatible with a 60AH/280A battery, fit my battery, along with the corresponding cover?

Did you install everything correctly? I have the same unit and also converted it to the larger intake, but everything fits perfectly for me, just like before.

"I think I've put everything back together correctly this time. It's not particularly difficult. The expansion rivets fit, which means the position of the pipe attachment is correct, and the pipe itself is fastened to the inside of the fender. That also seems right. Perhaps the screw for the pipe is a bit further out on your G4 model. My G4 is model 05, one of the later ones, so maybe something was changed. I was even considering moving the attachment point where the pipe is screwed to the fender, but I'm not sure if the adhesive would hold."

The pre-facelift Audi A3 has a battery holder that is quite narrow, allowing the battery to be easily shifted to the left or right.
