SRS Light On After Low Voltage - LT 35 2.5 TDI

Hello fellow forum members,

"I have an LT35 here where, after experiencing undervoltage during startup (the battery is likely at the end of its life this winter), both the WFS control light and the SRS lamp are now constantly illuminated!"

I was able to delete the WFS, but the airbag control unit won't allow access! Is there a trick to it? Or could the voltage fluctuations have damaged the control unit?

I hope you can help me – I couldn't find anything when I searched.

The LT is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, but uses engines from the Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG).
VCDS only allows access to the MSTG and WFS modules; access to the rest requires other diagnostic systems because of the Mercedes-Benz control unit.

That means I have to go to a Mercedes dealer... or the VW dealer probably won't be able to do it either!? Or can their testers also read these control units?
