The two right-hand Torx screws are for the differential. The bulge in the center at the top, with the Torx screw, should be the reservoir for the Haldex oil.

I can confirm that. The two on the right are for the differential, and the upper left one is for the Haldex oil. That's also where we top it up.

So, there's definitely no filter anymore?

A friend has a 2009 TT TDI Quattro that needs a Haldex oil change, and I haven't been able to find any information on how to do it.

Okay, so let me just say, I just checked the erFin system.

The oil can be changed very easily on the Haldex 5 system.

The Allen screw located at the front bottom on the front side is the drain screw.
It's frustrating that the manufacturer wants to keep the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) low.
but understandable, even if with a certain bitter aftertaste.
Reducing the number of parts is a logical next step.
For me, it's clear that I need to have the oil changed at least every 20,000 km.
Perhaps even after 10,000 km to get rid of the initial running-in.

I can confirm that as well. I changed the Haldex oil in my girlfriend's A3 8V 184PS TDI last weekend.

It already looked quite aged at around 45,000 km. The biggest surprise, however, came when I pulled out the pump.
"Significant deposits have accumulated here. The pump can be detached using two Torx screws, after which it can be pulled out. The cable is just long enough to allow the pump to be fully removed and placed to the side. There is a filter on the pump, which I was able to verschandeln with some brake cleaner."

In my opinion, when changing the Haldex oil, it is essential to disassemble the pump and verschandeln the filter.

What is the car's manufacturing year?
Was it really a Haldex 5 system?

First registration date: 01/2014, so manufactured in late 2013...
