Hello,
I just discovered an error in the all-wheel drive control unit (Haldex) of my Octavia. The error message reads: "Brake light switch signal implausible - intermittent."
I have no issues with the vehicle's driving behavior, but for some reason, the error isn't recorded in the engine control unit (ECU). Actually, doesn't the ECU also monitor the brake light switch?
Do you have any ideas?

My guess is that the error existed at some point and was then deleted in the MSG (Message Server), but not in the HSG (High Security Gateway). Just try deleting it and see if it reappears. MfG. Michael

You're right, that could be the case since I haven't had the car for very long. I'll keep an eye on it. The fact that it's not currently showing up in the engine control unit (ECU) is a good sign.
