The situation is as follows: Stemei has not been distributing our products for quite some time
.
A few years ago, a very small number of our diagnostic kits were purchased from stemei.de. Since then, our product images have continued to be used without our permission, and individual components illegally extracted from our software package (KDataScope, KPower, KPerformance) are being sold.
I would like to point out that the KDataScope/KPower/KPerformance versions being sold are illegal copies without a software license
. That means a buyer will experience problems
when using them (unregistered version, trial version, lack of support for current logs), and furthermore, the versions offered there are long outdated
.
We offer no support whatsoever for illegally copied or pirated versions obtained from other sources, and we will not provide updates for those versions.
A buyer of, for example, a KDataScope will therefore be deceived by Stemei, because Stemei is not actually able to sell anyone the corresponding software license.
In the worst-case scenario, the customer loses their money and receives an outdated version that does not support the latest VCDS and KOBD2Check versions, or our RKS+CAN diagnostic interfaces.

I recommend that anyone who fell for this and received such an interface labeled as "HEX-V2" contact Stemei to request a refund.
