Hello, after a long and unsuccessful search, I finally have to write here. I had to install VCDS on my new laptop (WIN11), using HEX-USB+CAN.

I installed the latest version, and it ended with the message "Driver cannot be loaded on this device". Under "more information", I learned that I must disable memory integrity under kernel isolation. I did that, restarted, and reinstalled: everything was as before. In the Device Manager, the driver is not clearly displayed, it should be under "Input devices" according to the description here. I assume it must be the lowest entry "Input device" without further naming. At least I wanted to update it, specifying the Rosstech folder. And I received the message that I already had the best version.

Now, after the 3rd attempt, this driver is no longer displayed in the Device Manager at all, even though I hadn't manually removed it before. The memory integrity is still disabled.

I also noticed that in the error window, the driver is called RT-USB64.sys (not *.inf like other drivers). According to my research, this is only for older hardware, or? As a solution, someone here mentioned clicking the box "...older drivers" (or legacy drivers). However, I don't have such an option (anymore).
Oh yes, the connection test of course doesn't work, probably due to the lack of a driver. The green LED on the interface is lit.

Surely, many HEX-USB+CAN are working on newer laptops with WIN11. How did you solve this?

Does your antivirus scanner also not provide any information?

What processor platform do you have for Windows 11? Please share a Screenshot with your Windows system information.

In advance: There are no HEX-USB+CAN drivers for Windows on ARM because it didn't exist at that time. X86 and AMD64 are not a problem.

Good morning Rainer,

Later, I realized that I still wanted to write something about the antivirus scanner – a good question. But it's quite new, and besides the built-in Windows Defender, there are no other third-party antivirus programs installed. Also, there's almost no other software or specific drivers. During installation, there was only one Explorer window open.

The processor should be fine – just a standard one, as shown in the picture.

I'm not an expert, but from my point of view, nothing is particularly unusual.
