1. AGR disabled by blocking and plugging the hose. When the engine is cold, error 00522 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (G62) is recorded. When the engine is warm, it's time to relax.
Motor is the AYM.
Could it be that only a false message is being displayed, because I haven't found a suitable label file for the AYM? Does VAGCOM always take the data from the AKE?

2. Also, the engine is louder at idle when the EGR valve is faulty, is that normal?

3. Where can I get the target values for the AYM?

Otherwise, a great forum. I've learned a lot.

After 522 has the same meaning in all other engines, I assume you have a problem there. Broken wire, misaligned connector, etc....

The engine runs rougher when the AGR is deactivated; this is normal. When you activate the AGR and set it to full return, it runs smoothly like a chamber diesel...
results from the operation of the 'exhaust gas recirculation' system

Post03-05-2004, 11:17    Subject: after disconnecting the AGR --> 00522 - Engine Coolant Temperature Translating...

Gruss sulzi
