Skoda Radio Symphony in Golf 3

Hello, dear forum!
As the title suggests, I plan to install a Skoda Symphony radio from an Octavia/Superb into my Golf 3 because I got it at a good price and it looks like it will fit well aesthetically in the Golf 3.

I've heard some opinions suggesting that it might not be as simple as "plug and play," because the radio apparently needs to be controlled, at least in part, via the comfort bus.

"Currently, a Gamma IV engine is installed in the Golf."

Does anyone have experience with this conversion/retrofit? I believe that similar problems would arise if we were to upgrade to GammaV.

There are quite a few places that sell Symphonies. Please take a picture of the connection.

If it's a Symphony CD unit, it has the standard ISO connectors for speakers and power, but it receives the ignition logic functions/lighting signals, etc. via the Comfort-CAN bus.

It will work, but it won't be diagnosable, and most importantly, it won't turn off when the key is removed and turn back on when the key is inserted.

"I would rather install something else; in my opinion, the Symphony has a sound that is not modern anymore... I had it installed in my car with the Skoda sound system, and I ended up taking it out."
