Hello, I have a question about the air conditioning system in my Passat with a 90 horsepower engine, manufactured in 1999. Since I had my car serviced, I've noticed a small puddle of water under my car. I suspect it's related to the air conditioning system. The dealer told me it's condensation, but I'm not sure if I had water under the car before. Is this normal, or should I go back to my dealer?

Hello, the humidity condenses on the cold parts of the air conditioner, so a small puddle of water is perfectly normal.
If the air conditioner has a leak, it will automatically shut off (due to the low internal pressure).

Best regards, Rainer.

I thought the same thing at first... it's the condensate drain hose. Clear that and replace the pollen filter! You'll find the hose on the left side of the passenger seat.
