Hello everyone!

I thought I'd give some feedback regarding my nozzle replacement.

My AAT is still from the first generation (GRA not possible, year of manufacture: 01/94) and has 200,100 kilometers on the odometer.

I actually wanted to install the nozzles from the AAT 3rd generation, which I bought for €230 (new). However, the company sent me 4 AEL nozzles and 1 NHG nozzle with an AAT nozzle. I briefly contacted the company to ask what this was about >> They replied that they have been using nozzles with different ending letters icon_eek.gif (nozzle mix!) for years.

Okay, I'm not using a custom fuel injector blend, so I went to the Bosch service center and ordered an AEL injector insert (DSLA 150 P 502 - €43). It arrived today and I immediately installed it into the AAT injector body.

The result: With the standard chip and the AEL nozzles, the performance is impressive, but the smoke billowing out is also noticeable in the rearview mirror!
I adjusted the chip myself >> I reduced the pump voltage in the mid to high RPM range, and now the engine runs with a bit more power than before, just with the chip and the original injectors (although with less visible black smoke!).

Regarding the running noise of the LL, in my opinion, it hasn't changed!

I will monitor the consumption and report back.

Gen. montprepare and finish.

Edit: It's not the crossbar that's different, but the round bearing supports and the threaded pins are higher (all 5 bearing supports are 18€ each, the threaded pins are homemade because they are not available as spare parts icon_eek.gif).

Conclusion: AAT injectors of the 1st generation and the 3rd generation use the same injector body (DSLA 150 P 280-), but have different injector holders. Therefore, starting with the 3rd generation, AAT and AEL injectors use the same injector holder.

Okay, I tried to notice any jerking or rocking when driving in high gears at low RPM.
to provoke >> It doesn't twitch, no matter what you do.

Well, I just wanted to get all of that off my chest!

Best regards,
Andi.
