Interface HEX+CAN is no longer unlocked after MFT update.

About 3 years ago, I purchased the HEX+CAN professional system via USB from the Dieselschraubershop. Software version was until now "VAG-COM Release 504.1"
I have been very satisfied with this so far, and it has worked perfectly.

However, I have now installed version 704 of DRV-Berlin and now almost nothing works anymore. The firmware was updated from 1.4x to 1.78 during this process. And now, basically, nothing seems to be working properly anymore.
The status in the software is set to "not unlocked"!

How can I fix this problem?

The interfaces are partner-specific.
So, get a new version of the partner from where you bought it.
There is also a download section that covers this.

Unfortunately, I had to experience this bitter experience regarding the distributor partnership myself.
Where can a merchant find the latest soft and Download the firmware to fix this problem?

The latest VAG-COM version is always available in the customer's account on the online shop. Simply log in and download the 704.1 version:

It is now running with the new version 704 and has been re-enabled.
The only drawback is that "CAN INACTIVE" is... let's see what's causing this.
