Hello,
Yesterday, I cleaned my mass airflow sensor (MAF) following a DIY guide from this forum. After some initial difficulties, like figuring out how to remove the triangular screw and losing important Torx bits inside the engine compartment, I eventually managed to do it. It was surprising how much dirt was inside the housing. The magnetic block with the coil was full of shavings and covered in black residue. After cleaning the parts and reassembling them, I had problems with readjusting the sensor arm. I had previously read out the values 001 and 019 and noted them down. 001 showed 0.700V, and 019 showed 0.700-4.440V. The low minimum trigger voltage was already surprising. Could it be that the MAF sensor was incorrectly calibrated from the factory?
I have reset the minimum value back to 0.700V. However, when I now read the MWB 019, the maximum limit is only 4.380-4.400V. Could this be due to the cleaning? Does this have an impact on the motor's performance?

Greetings.
Reuselkopp.

Hello,
"Can anyone give me some input on this? I always thought the target voltage for the lower limit should be 0.740V. The motor runs quite well, but I still feel that it's a bit sluggish when accelerating. Could this be related to the RSW adjustment? The idle injection volume has also changed. Before cleaning, it was 4.4mg/H, and now it's 4.2mg/H."

Greetings.
