Hi.

What needs to be done if someone wants to get a new door knocker?

Sure, first of all, everything "before" has to be removed.
- Bumper
- the impact body, which is the steel beam.

Okay, here's the translation:

Now, the interesting part:
How does that work with the three coolers?
- Climate
- Water
- LLK

Greetings.

Officially, the water cooler, etc., must be disconnected.
For example, with the Go4, the entire radiator assembly can be detached and accessed from below after removing the locking mechanism. When the locking mechanism is removed, the assembly remains connected to the vehicle.
I think it might also be possible with the Go5, but I'm not 100% sure.

I read in a "guide to converting to a GTI front" that those guys left everything in place. http://hypuh.3d-nexus.de/seite2.htm

But that was a gasoline-powered car, so it already had my auxiliary liquid cooling system connected.

Since everything is new anyway icon_sad.gif, I might as well convert it to a GT/GTI.

No separation is required for the coolers.
Simply unscrew the entire assembly and then either prop it up or have an assistant hold it.

Hi.

The support is connected by - but through a central brace that, in my opinion, is not so important.
A reinforcing triangle is broken off, and a retaining loop has been torn out.

Does it need to be replaced (immediately), or will it continue to work for a while longer?

The whole thing might be a bit wobbly (unstable). It's not pretty. What do the other attachment points look like? They should be able to handle a bit more.

Whether it absolutely has to be replaced immediately -- other people drive around with it for years icon_wink.gif.

Actually, it must be renewed immediately icon_wink.gif.

So far, I have only found the cracks that are marked.
Otherwise, everything is set.

It sounds like you're already expecting Damage Update V1.1? icon_lol.gif

As mentioned before, many people wouldn't worry about it at all and would drive like that for years. Just pop the headlight in and compare it to the other side to see how firmly it's still attached. If it's very unstable, I would replace it.

Okay.

I now also have two T10093s...

I'm going to play around with that now.

OK.

"Carriers outside."

In my opinion, it's quite risky to engage in sports alone without the two T10093s. Above all, the climate control pipes would suffer unnecessarily.

It's relatively easy with T10093.

15 EUR for tools that are worth it.

After two extreme snowstorms yesterday, it was dry overnight, and the air was quite dry - absolutely no problems.

Let's see when and how I can fit some fun into my day today.

West Palatinate, 2 degrees Celsius, light sleet... the castle gate is still open.

Attention: The locking mechanism of the latch can be closed even if the internal sliding part is twisted. Then you can only unlock it once; after that, the locking mechanism will remain in the "open" position.

Savings are needed everywhere.
Now, even with the castle door handles, they are saving money by no longer "pressing them hot" during the manufacturing process, and the metal body is no longer welded to the plastic body.
