Reverse Gear Not Working: Doku Sharan Repair (Solution)

Reverse gear cannot be engaged.

The affected gearboxes were manufactured between September 1, 1998, and October 21, 1998.

Cause:
Due to unfavorable tolerance effects on the locking unit for the reverse gear, the shift lever may become stuck and prevent shifting into reverse.

Solution:
In the event of a complaint, disconnect the control cables from the gearshift lever on the transmission. If a fault is detected in the shifting mechanism/gearshift lever, the transmission shift mechanism No. 006 311 682 must be installed.
