Oil leak on PD-TDI: Report and analysis

"I experienced something strange in my 3BG. A yellow, oily sludge formed despite using new LL3 oil and driving long distances - the thermostat is okay. After another oil change a few weeks later, the same thing happened again, and it was worse when it rained."

After some time, the braking power decreased and the performance was lacking.

Reason: Drain clogged -> BKV (presumably a component) rusted and therefore leaking -> complete vacuum system out of operation and water was sucked in.

Perhaps this might help someone. I didn't figure it out right away, as everything unfolded step by step.

Mainly on the oil filler cap.
