I have a VW Touareg V10 TDI in my workshop with the BDE engine that has a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) issue, or rather, the additive tank was empty. The additive was refilled by a VW garage, and I hope it was done correctly.

Now, we also have the error code P2002, which indicates a malfunction of the particulate filter.

Based on the differential pressure of approximately 330 mbar during full acceleration while driving, it has been determined that the particulate filter is clogged. The loading factor is 25.3%.

I was trying to perform a regeneration, but I don't have the access authorization code for "Engine Electrical System, Group 31" in the control unit. Can anyone help me with this?

The forced regeneration of the DPF should be initiated on your engine, just like on the 2.5L pump-injector TDI engines.

1. Check whether the GRA (cruise control) function can be activated/deactivated individually in control units 01 and 11 to verify that the login function is working correctly in those control units.
2. It is unusual for the fields in the control unit information to be empty when the control unit address is 31... perhaps the "Coding-II" button should also be active there.
3. Please attempt to use the login code "21295" in the second ECU (control unit address 11) and report whether it is accepted.

Okay, I entered the regeneration command again in both engine control units 1 and 11, and this time it worked. I have no idea what the problem was, but the particulate filters have been cleaned, and I've reduced the filling coefficient to 3% and 5% after the regeneration cycle. I think that's a very good value after a cleaning, considering they're not brand new.
