Hi everyone,

I would like to replace the spark plugs on my Golf 7 1.4 TSI with engine code CHPA. It seems that a special tool is needed to remove the ignition coils. Is this correct? And if so, does anyone know the exact part number for this tool?

You probably should be able to manage with a set of pullers like a 4-piece puller set for ignition coils, suitable for VW Audi VAG vehicles.

You won't have any luck with those pullers on this engine. The special tool required is called VW T10530. Check out "BGS 9073" on Google; it's similar but much cheaper.

Great! With the search term for the tool, I finally found a video. That's Kiki, so it should be doable even without special tools.
