T6 Transporter, Noise Reduction

My T6 Transporter, which has been converted into a camper, has had sound and thermal insulation installed in the cargo area.

With bitumen, the deep recesses of the cargo floor, the wheel arches, and the small areas of the side walls were filled.
Insulated with closed-pore foam polyethylene and spray adhesive.

A wooden floor panel with "VW plastic surface" was glued onto the cargo floor using Sikaflex.

The result is impressive; previously, the bus was quieter in the (carpeted) driver's cabin, and the "noise" came from the cargo area. After the renovation, it's exactly the opposite.

Compared to the Audi A6 4F, the rolling noises are not significantly different, however, in the T6, the engine noise is much more prominent from 2500rpm.
Overall, the noise levels are already great, the A6 4F offers a high level here, which the VW T6 is now approaching in the "cargo area".
Therefore, it is now also necessary to insulate the engine compartment and the front area of the T6.

Does anyone have experience with the best way to address the engine noise in the T6 transporter?

I'm going to be really angry now... First, I'm going to install an engine with the same number of cylinders as in the Audi A6...

A 4-cylinder engine produces a "knocking" sound, which is not present in a 6-cylinder engine from the factory.

The A6 has a 4-cylinder engine (BRE), I've already dealt with the issue of extended rear bumpers, and the car drives very well.

Ok, I didn't know that, the A6 only fits for me with 6 ends....

Specifically, I don't have experience with the T6, but generally from the car audio area. Basically, you do the same thing in the front as you do in the back, so quiet the panels with bitumen, Alubutyl or TubeMat, or sandwich insulation. I think the wheel arches will be the most effective. To access the spray booth, you cannot avoid removing the dashboard.

There might also be insulation mats from the Multivans that can be attached to the spray wall in the engine compartment. For example, my previous Highline Polo had this feature, unlike the Trendline versions.
