Hello,
Regarding one of my "premium vehicles" (Audi A3 2.0TDI), the service is due, and I noticed oil leakage on the cylinder head, see photos. Engine code is CFFB, only 136,000 km.
I tried to find a source of oil fumes using a lighter, but unfortunately, I couldn't find anything. Therefore, I'm worried that the plastic seals on the cylinder head cover/oil separator are leaking somewhere.
Does anyone know if there's a known cause at this location?
To remove the cover, the injectors must be removed and the rail must be disassembled. A lot of work, where a lot can go wrong.
It would have been better if I had bought a Skoda back then, the same technology at a reasonable price.
Plaques for cylinder head covers are gratefully accepted.
Best regards, Rainer
