T6 Climatic not cooling

Hello,

During summer vacations, I noticed that after several hours of driving with the air conditioning on, the ventilation flaps would inexplicably adjust themselves in a way that prevented any airflow into the vehicle.

You can crank the fan up to full speed, but no air comes out of the vents, under the windshield, or in the footwell.

Turning the ignition on and off temporarily fixes the problem for some users.

Is this a known issue, and is there a solution available? Ideally, before the next vacation in the south. X

Hello Rainer,

The transports are known to have problems with the defrosting flap actuators. These occasionally malfunction and then need to be readjusted.

As a result, the control units often fail.

Typically, this is accompanied by an error code.

Have you already run the initialization routine?

Thank you for the information! I haven't been able to find any error entries so far.
No, I haven't done anything yet; I plan to do it before next summer. Does this relate to adjustments within the Climatic system?

Okay, sure.

08 Climate Control / Heating Electronics.

04 Default settings.

IDE 04041: Calibrate the blower control and flap actuator.

If you perform the adjustment with the engine running, you can hear the engines adjusting.

In the actuator diagnostics, you can address each motor individually.

If the shaft is defective or the gears are worn, the motor will still function as such, and there will also be no error messages recorded.
