Hello, after a long and unsuccessful search, I finally have to write here. I had to install VCDS on my new laptop (WIN11), and I have a HEX-USB+CAN interface.

I installed the latest version, and it ended with the message "Driver cannot be loaded on this device." Under "more information," I learned that I need to disable memory integrity under "core isolation." I did that, restarted, and reinstalled, but it's still the same. The driver isn't clearly displayed in Device Manager; according to the description here, it should be located under "Input Devices." I assume it's the entry at the bottom labeled "Input Device" without a more specific name. At least, that's what I tried to update, specifying "Rosstech" as the folder. And I received a message saying that I already had the best version.

Now, after the 3rd attempt, this driver is no longer displayed in the Device Manager, even though I hadn't manually removed it before. The memory integrity feature is still disabled.
I've also noticed that the error window lists "RT-USB64.sys" as the driver (not a *.inf file, as is usually the case with drivers). According to my research, this driver is only for older hardware. As a possible solution, I've seen it suggested to check the box that says "...older drivers" (or "legacy drivers"). I don't have that option available to me anymore.
Oh yes, the connection test isn't working, probably due to a lack of drivers. The green LED on the interface is lit.

"There are probably several HEX-USB+CAN devices running on newer laptops with Windows 11." How did you solve it?

Regards,
Andreas.

Hello,

You seem to have already found the HEX-USB+CAN driver problem for Windows 11.

Is your antivirus software not detecting anything either?
Okay, I'm ready. Please provide the German text you want me to translate.

What processor platform do you have for Windows 11? Could you please post a Screenshot of your Windows system information?

Before we begin: There are no HEX-USB+CAN drivers for Windows on ARM, simply because they didn't exist back then. X86 and AMD64 are not a problem.

Best regards, Rainer.

Good morning, Rainer,
Later, I realized I wanted to add something about the antivirus software. Good question. But it's quite new, so besides Windows Defender, there's nothing else from third-party vendors installed for antivirus. Also, there's almost no other software or specific drivers installed. Besides the Explorer window, nothing else was open during the installation.
The processor should be straightforward and standard, nothing fancy. See below. Image.
I'm not an expert on this, but from my perspective, it's nothing out of the ordinary.
