T4 Compression Pressure: How to Check & Fix

Hello.
I checked the compression on my VW T4, 2.4-liter engine, with engine code AAB.
According to the documentation, it should have a pressure between 26 and 34 bar.
However, I measured 40 bar in all 5 cylinders.
The compression pressure recorder is working properly.
How is this high value achieved?

'All compression values and specifications were determined using VAG equipment. Furthermore, it is also specified at which points the measurements should be taken. I believe VW stipulates that the pressure should be measured at the fuel injectors, not at the glow plugs. Therefore, reliable results are likely only obtainable with original equipment.'
