Tiptronic & ABS Problem: Troubleshooting Guide

I'm having another problem and need some outside opinions.
I have a Passat V6 TDI with an AFB engine and an EFR Tiptronic transmission.

'The vehicle sometimes runs as it should, but other times it doesn't.'

But most of the time, the car runs poorly. It feels like the transmission isn't shifting into the highest gear, so the car is going 160 km/h, but the engine speed is almost 4500 RPM, and it doesn't shift up any further.

I read the article without using any forced gear changes between the 4th and 5th gears, but I didn't encounter any of those errors.
Als einzigen Fehler den ich im Autom. ESG gspeichert hatte war was von sporadicher unterbrechung Getribeöltemp.Sensor. Hab den Fehler leider ohne mir den Code zu notieren gelöscht. Bei Probefahrten mit VAG Com hatte ich allerdings immer eine Temp. von 82-88 Grad was ich O.K. FSure, or what?

Now, my question is: Has anyone else experienced this problem before?
Should I just randomly replace the temperature sensors?
Can someone tell me how to check the oil level?

I have many questions, and I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

'Yes... it's not quite as extreme, but occasionally (really rarely, but you remember it) I also get the impression that my Tiptronic (engine AFB, I don't know the transmission, body A4 B5 from 1999) hesitates and doesn't want to shift up... I then ease off the gas slightly, and it kicks in (you can hear it).'

I'll change the entire transmission oil in my Tiptronic during the next service (which will probably be soon, as the last one was 1200 km ago), because the coolant is leaking again and I'm still losing too much of it. The transmission now has almost 215,000 km on it, and I'm hoping for a slightly smoother gear shifting afterwards.
