Control Unit 46: Suddenly Unreachable?

Hello everyone,

Last week, I successfully changed the settings of the comfort control unit on a new imported Seat Leon 1.9 TDI (engine code unknown) using VAG-Com. The automatic locking function was successfully disabled. Today, I wanted to disable the individual door opening feature with the same equipment, but I can no longer connect to device 46. All other functions work as usual. Also, the control unit itself still works, because the central locking and power windows are functioning properly.

Where could the error be?

Pull the relevant fuse (usually labeled 'interior light'), wait 30 seconds, and then reinsert it.

I'm not sure why, but the device can sometimes be a bit temperamental.

Yes, this tax software, similar to a computer, sometimes needs a 'reboot'. It runs constantly, even when it's supposedly turned off.
